In the year 1995, Rev. Ranga V P and his wife Pastor Caroline Ranga obeyed a profound calling from God to step out as missionaries. Their destination was Chikmagalur—a beautiful region known for its rolling hills, coffee plantations, and warm people, but one that was in deep need of a fresh moves of God's love and the Gospel.
With humble hearts and a strong vision, they arrived in Chikmagalur and pioneered a dedicated Kannada Christian ministry. They began by opening their home, holding prayer meetings, and reaching out to individuals with love and humility. What started as a tiny seed of faith quickly began to sprout.
Signs, Wonders, and God's Power
From the very beginning, the Lord confirmed their missionary preaching with signs and wonders. Through intense prayer and simple faith, believers began witnessing remarkable acts of God's grace:

Rev. Ranga V P and Pastor Caroline arrive in Chikmagalur with a direct calling to start a Kannada-speaking Christian ministry. They began with cottage prayer meetings and personal evangelism.
As prayers were answered and signs followed, the number of believers grew. The small home church transitioned into a structured fellowship affiliated with the South India Assemblies of God.
A strong local outreach program was established, holding prayer cells in surrounding villages, coffee estates, and neighborhoods, bringing the hope of Christ to hard-to-reach areas.
